Candle hand, Sky lanterns, Fire eater, Car wash and Sparkle - 5 movie loops created by Jonny Baker. There are various pieces of software that people use to present movie loops - powerpoint, keynote, arkaos, easyworship and so on. Whichever you use or even if you are using quicktime on its own, all a loop means is something that plays repeatedly. You should be able to set the movie to loop so that it keeps playing or looping. The loops are silent. Use them with creativity and imagination. They can simply create texture in the space or make a background to project words over or a focus for prayer. In case this is a new concept for you, there a few suggestions for each one below. Jonny has created an example of how you might use one and is giving that away free. You can watch it at his vimeo page here. If you log in or sign up you can scroll down the page and click to download it or if you are a proost subscriber it is in the movie section under the title unwrap our darkness. You an also watch any of the other movie loops if you scroll through Jonny's movies at vimeo (though they are not available to download free). If you need any movie in a different format try using http://media-convert.com where you can upload a movie file and select the format to convert to.
Candle hand - a hand shields a flickering candle flame. Originally filmed as part of an Easter vigil, but ideal for background during prayer or meditation or a vigil.
Car wash - you might not guess that this stylised loop is a car wash filmed through the windscreen. Evocative background for confession or baptism.
Sparkle - an ambient texture sparkles in the light. It could be a background for songs, or a blessing or pentecost.
Fire eater - a short loop of a fire eater, background for pentecost or a prayer of invocation.
Sky lanterns - sky lanterns are lit and float into the sky. It's a magical loop and could be used for prayer, blessing, hopes, advent.
