5 movie loops - Candles, Flames, Fireworks, Spectrograph and Dancer created by Mark Waddington. Mark has worked in television and media for decades. These VJ loops could be projected in the worship space as a texture, ambience or visual wallpaper for the soul. There are various pieces of software that people use to present - powerpoint, keynote, arkaos, easyworship and so on. Whichever you use or even if you are using quicktime on its own, all a loop means is something that plays repeatedly. You should be able to set the movie to loop so that it keeps playing/looping. Use them with creativity and imagination. In case this is a new concept for you, here’s a few suggestions for each one.
Candles - background during prayers, as background with song words or liturgy over.
Fireworks - celebration, Easter, Pentecost, Wedding
Dancer - background while people arrive, during celebration, background to upbeat songs, Easter.
Flames - Pentecost, background for songs, during prayer.
Spectrograph - the image measures noise level. Use it at the start of worship inviting people to reflect on the noise in their own lives and to quiet down in God’s presence. [There is a meditation on this on the Labyrinth Meditations album.]
