Waiting in Silence

"What happens when humans decide to stop ..."

Waiting & Silence is the new film from Corrymeela Community member and former Centre Director, Paul Hutchinson. The 28 minute documentary, which is narrated by Community Leader, Pádraig Ó Tuama, explores a Quaker Meeting in Coleraine, during an act of Worship. Using this specific context, the film goes on to ask more universal questions about the role and function of silence and contemplation in our society.

This beautifully filmed documentary uses space, timing and stillness to explore the very nature of Quaker worship - the power of silence itself.  This is a very high quality documentary and has made a real impact on those who've experienced it so far.
